Jersey 24/26 September 70’s

The party is complete and we’ve had to turn applicants away! So stay well and raring to go even if it’s some months away yet. We’ve 13 players (9 are O70 4 are O65) with 8 partners (all O21) as below.

The times folk are on the island and where they are staying is different and noted. Once there Duncan Mitchell will be o.i.c. to make sure everybody remembers what they’re doing next, when and where, but if he forgets somebody please remind him. Tim Pollard is our local man on the ground – too often he tells me as a goalie these days as he can’t get back on his feet so easily now – & will confirm playing and social arrangements in due course.

You will be told in good time so that you can make personal plans for using free hours to enjoy yourselves as you see fit or to discuss with others how you can join forces in this respect. Meantime the undernoted are party-cipating (see what I did there?!) and I’ve kept addressed emails open for your  contact convenience in case of need. I’ve copied in Tim as well as Simon who is organising England LX so he knows what they’re up against on the pitch & if we’re going to be far too good for them(!) we’d be happy mixing sides to make games more competitive. That’s for then though and meantime just note to take blue and white thistles shirts, shorts and socks until or unless you hear otherwise.
