Thistles Tournament in Dundee

Friday afternoon 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August

Three age groups. Multiple games each day. This is listed first as it is our own tournament with Spirit of Masters teams coming from all over the UK (and just possibly from abroad if allowed). We aim to find space in a squad for every member who wishes to play.

Accommodation

Hi all

Just to make you aware that I reserved 38 rooms for Thistles at the Invercarse Hotel for Friday and Saturday 6th and 7th August.

We are getting an event rate per room.

£70.00 per double room (for two people) with breakfast. There are now 10 rooms left at this rate . Susan and me paid early.

£87.00 per twin/double (for two people) with breakfast. I do not know what rooms are which.

There are also King Size delux rooms available at £92.00 per night per room with breakfast.

Partners are encouraged to come along that weekend and we will arrange walking tours, visits, etc nearer the time as well as us having the dinner on the Saturday.

Since you lot are the first Thistles players to sign up you get first come with the Hotel.

You can have a look at the e-mail list and if you recognise anyone who may be going as a single person then you can pair up and sort out a room.

There are however lots of Hotels and Travel Hotels near the Centre or just on the outskirts of Dundee that you can get a bit cheaper. Malmaison and the Apex are a good bit more expensive however.

There are also serviced apartments and I think the two Universities can offer accommodation at that time.
