DESCRIPTION:Another highly enjoyable midweek in Cambridge and we are looking forward to sending mens teams and ladies teams.  Format last year was two ten year age spreads and I don’t know yet if this is the format for this year but it is likely.  For the Ladies we are not using the “Apply For” button and you should email    ladies@scottishthistleshockey.org \n– Date: Tuesday 22nd Sept – Thursday 24th Sept \n– Venue:  University of Cambridge – three astros and one college astro a short drive away. \n– Teams:  W60+ and W70+ or mixed.  Under-age is feasible. \n– Opposition: LX\, LX regionals\, Wales\, Ireland. \n– Format:  Four 50 mins matches.

SUMMARY:WGMA Rome - M70
DESCRIPTION:HC Tevere in Rome and WGMA have combined to offer a small tournament for six men’s teams at M70 level (and six Ladies at W65 level).  The aim is for competitive festival hockey and to enjoy Rome.  Preliminary poll suggest this will be popular and some decisions to balance the squad for positions and ages is likely to be needed. \nDate: Monday 26th October (arrival Sunday is advised) to Friday 30th October.  I don’t know when the final game will be on the Friday. \nLocation: HC Tevere Eur\, Euroma Hockey Stadium\,Via Bilbao\, 12\, 00144 Roma RM\, Italy (obtained by search\, no pitch indicated on information so far.) \nThistles Team: M70 accepting ages from 68 to 78.  We’ll not go younger but make be able to take older. \nOpposition: their preliminary invites are to Italy\, Dragons\, Belgium\, France and Alliance so I would imagine one game per day. \nTo apply click the Submit button below or contact Ian McCreath by email or WhatsApp\n\nBefore 12th July we shall need commitment and a £50 non-refundable deposit.  If possible we’d like to all be in the same hotel.
