Scottish Hockey Awards Dinner 2024

The Scottish Hockey awards Dinner 2024, held at The Village Hotel, Glasgow on Thursday, 1st of February, was a great success.  Thistles were sponsoring the Official of the Year and Mike co-presented the award with Derek O'Riordan to the well deserving winner: Jamie Telfer.

It was great to see Mike and his partner Susan at the event.  We managed to get enough bodies to sit at our table and all enjoyed great food and a very funny compere in comedienne Susie McCabe.

This was the first year we have sponsored a category and our contribution was greatly appreciated.  We look forward to sponsoring a new award next year and will be in negotiations with Scottish Hockey to see what is possible.

Masters Team of the Year

Did you know that our O70's team came a close second to the Scottish Ladies O60's in the category for Masters Team of the Year?  Very well done to them to be nominated.
