Scotland M70s started the group stage brightly with 4 straight wins in a group composed of Germany SOM 70s and Dutch, English, Alliance and German 75s. After the group stage Scotland were top with 4 wins and one loss to LX. The finals on Sunday saw Scotland record two draws to finish runners up in a very competitive group. From the 7 games played Scotland recorded 5 games with no goals against which pays tribute to a rock solid defence. In midfield good positioning and strong running nullified the opposition threat and all of the strikers recorded success through a mix of open play and good short corner technique. Good on pitch camaraderie spilled over to a couple of good social nights. We look forward to next time.
