Headline Events for 2026

The 2026 headline events will be Tilburg/Namur and the World Cup.

IGMHF 2026, which last year was also a highlight event, is in Argentina in November and at present we are not intending to enter a Thistles team, however if you would like us to consider attending then please contact your Age Group Coordinator so that they can guage the interest.

WC Ladies and Men over 80s

Ladies:  With National attending the Ladies are not confident enough of numbers to enter a Thistles team.

Men over 80s:  Not quite there yet in numbers so we are to withdraw.  Our 75s are to go and 80s are invited to register with this.  It is our firm intention though to enter a Thistles 80s team in similar events in 2027.

Dragons, 18-19 July.  Almost definite but awaiting confirmation

New Membership System is LIVE - see Join Us page on menu

If you have not yet registered please do so otherwise you will not be able to enter events in 2026.  A copy email which was sent to everyone is here: NMS invite email online copy.  Existing members should scroll down the Join Us page and use the large "Join as:" button as if a brand new membership.  Note: 80s have their own membership category and should use the 80s button.

All Player IDs (format XX99) have been added to your Profile.  Shirt numbers have also been added though there are a few we are not sure of so if your number is missing or "shirt?" appears can you please help us by emailing your number.

Members Balances - see Members Area page on menu

A PDF of balances is now available.  You need to log in to the New Membership System to access the page and have your Player ID (format XX99) to ascertain your details.

Apply For events system

Anyone can apply for an event by any means.  The Coordinator collates all applications whether from the button on the Apply For event page, WhatsApp, email or direct contact and names the squad.  Previously you would then have received an email to acknowledge, now you will receive a link to a hidden COMMIT TO event page.  Log in to the New Membership System and click on Submit on this COMMIT TO event page to accept the costs and conditions to attend the event.   See this page for more details.
