TILBURG:  Excellent weekend in Holland with some great hockey and even better social.  Our M65s were the outstanding team this time coming fourth behind the quasi-national teams from England, Holland and Germany.

NAMUR:  Another excellent weekend in Belgium for our Ladies with the final contested between our own two teams.

INDOOR WORLD CUP:  After the joy of beating USA national team 5-2 Thistles make the final of IMC section to play England B.  Result now in: England B win 12-3 with Thistles gaining moral victory of outscoring them in the final quarter.  A great result and another medal for Thistles this year.

LILLE: Third place, great result and excellent team spirit.  We won every game except the semi-final to the Dutch who won the whole event.

World Cup (IMC)

M50 Rotterdam, M55 and M60 Brasschaat (Antwerp), M65 and M70 Breda but sadly no M75.  We believe WMH are compiling ranking points even for the SoM teams like Thistles so we have to be competitive.  Selection is underway and it's such a balancing act as we want those Thistles who are trialling for National if not selected and at the same time we need to inform early so that travel and accommodation can be booked.  Please bear with us.

4-6 September - a highly sociable tour with teams playing and combining to ensure the most enjoyment.  Poll now available on the Diary.

22-24 September.  Expectation is W60-70 two teams.  M60 and M70 and possibly M75/80.  Details starting to come through.  Poll now available on the Diary.

PSL becomes STEVENSONS

For our club shop this was always the same company but now the Stevensons corporate name is being used throughout.  If you see Stevensons, Stevensons/XXV or their brand name Custom Athletics then you are in the correct place.  Also they have added a Royal Mail delivery cheaper alternative to DPD.
