TILBURG:  Excellent weekend in Holland with some great hockey and even better social.  Our M65s were the outstanding team this time coming fourth behind the quasi-national teams from England, Holland and Germany.

NAMUR:  Another excellent weekend in Belgium for our Ladies with the final contested between our own two teams.

INDOOR WORLD CUP:  After the joy of beating USA national team 5-2 Thistles make the final of IMC section to play England B.  Result now in: England B win 12-3 with Thistles gaining moral victory of outscoring them in the final quarter.  A great result and another medal for Thistles this year.

LILLE: Third place, great result and excellent team spirit.  We won every game except the semi-final to the Dutch who won the whole event.

MMHF Dundee:  Great four days with almost perfect weather (for Dundee) and everything we wanted for the re-launch as Mike's festival.

IMC M50:  In progress.  Spirits high, a lot of experience to gain.  26th July update: need to beat Ireland B to progress.

WC - International Masters Cup (IMC)

M50 Rotterdam, M55 and M60 Brasschaat (Antwerp), M65 and M70 Breda but sadly no M75.  All squads informed.  Odd player (!) withdrawal so contact you coordinator in case there is space.

Jersey - Not this year

With the IMC and other events we've not had the response desired and have pulled the Thistles entry.  It is not just us and possible they will postpone this years event.

Four Nations M60

Our M60 have been invited to a Four Nations event in Worcester 12-14 September.  Carlos is handling this direct.  A page has been added to the Diary for visibility only.

SeptemberFest

22-24 September.  Categories confirmed as W60 and W70, M60 and M70.  With the men's Coordinators heavily involved in the IMC the men's web poll has been removed and you should contact Carlos (M60) or Neil (M70).  Ladies (W60 and W70) should contact Charlotte direct to register your interest.

Rome

26-30 October.  M70 squad raised and informed; if you wish to be on standby for dropout please email Ian McC.  W65 Ladies are via email to Charlotte.

PSL becomes STEVENSONS

For our club shop this was always the same company but now the Stevensons corporate name is being used throughout.  If you see Stevensons, Stevensons/XXV or their brand name Custom Athletics then you are in the correct place.  Also they have added a Royal Mail delivery cheaper alternative to DPD.

Event details drifting in for 2027 include:  Lille 12-14 Mar (verbal), Tilburg 30 Apr - 2 May (official) and a new WGMA 1-7 November: W60, W65, W70 and M65, M70, M75 in Terrassa, Spain (an hour west of Barcelona).  No details yet on European Cup.  Details of events will be posted on the website Diary once more details are known.
