The men's section of Scottish Thistles Masters Hockey Club is open to all players over the age of 35 and follows the normal hockey masters groupings which progress in five year intervals to give continuity of play throughout a hopefully long and fruitful playing career.

The intention of Thistles is to grow each age group to follow a path similar to the already well established Thistles Sixties Plus.

M55 up and running

At the recent World Championship in Valencia our Thistles over 55s team brought home the bronze medal.

For convenience of updating the website for the time being events for o55s are being included in the Sixties Plus pages.

Younger Age Groups

World Masters Hockey have events for all Masters age groups and to express an interest in the younger Spirit of Master competitions please contact the Secretary.

SIXTIES PLUS

Sixties Plus is to coordinate all the activities of the Grand Master age groups M60 M65 M70 M75 and upwards.  At present and for the convenience of updating the website our M55 group are included here whether to participate in their own over 55s events or contribute as under-agers to our over 60s events where possible.
