12 Feb update: Squads selected and players informed. o60s is currently undersubscribed and looking for more applicants. o65s and o70s complete though there has been an odd dropout so if you are interested, even on standby, please email sixtiesplus. A recommended hotel in Scheveningen has been advised to all players. Saturday arrival now required as we have squad training on the Sunday from 11am to 1pm. This training makes all the difference to the quality of our play during the week and to the enjoyment of the event.
“WGMA are inviting all Spirit of Masters teams to a festival tournament which will be hosted by HC Klein Zwitserland in The Hague from 24th-30th June 2024. This will be much in the style of the tournament held in Barcelona in 2022. We anticipate approx 50 teams and the required number of games will be fitted into seven days on the club’s six pitches.”
This is our premier event of the summer. More event details and will be posted as received.
Date: Arrive on Saturday 22nd. This is a major event and we require the whole squad at training on the Sunday confirmed time as 11am – 1pm. After this is the Event welcome.
Matches start Monday 24th from 9am.
Matches finish Sunday 30th June late afternoon. So last flight back is feasible.
