WGMA Rome – M70

HC Tevere in Rome and WGMA have combined to offer a small tournament for six men’s teams at M70 level (and six Ladies at W65 level). The aim is for competitive festival hockey and to enjoy Rome. Preliminary poll suggest this will be popular and some decisions to balance the squad for positions and ages is likely to be needed.
Date: Monday 26th October (arrival Sunday is advised) to Friday 30th October. I don’t know when the final game will be on the Friday.
Location: HC Tevere Eur, Euroma Hockey Stadium,Via Bilbao, 12, 00144 Roma RM, Italy (obtained by search, no pitch indicated on information so far.)
Thistles Team: M70 accepting ages from 68 to 78. We’ll not go younger but make be able to take older.
Opposition: their preliminary invites are to Italy, Dragons, Belgium, France and Alliance so I would imagine one game per day.
