A fairly newish team to international competitions is the Scottish Thistles o65’s and this team is made up of representative and non-representative players. Prior to this any spare o65’s players were slotted into the Scottish Thistles o60’s but finally a couple of years ago we had enough players for the o65’s to form a team.
The o65’s are the current holders of the European Super Veterans Trophy which they won after beating a German team 1 – 0 in the final in Tilburg and seeing off teams from Italy and Holland. Over the next month or two this team will be in action in the Lakes, Bedford and Dundee tournaments.
