World Cup SoM – Tokyo, 19-29 October – declined

Regarding this prestigeous event an initial poll of members did not bring the level of response required; concerns were cited about distance, time of the year and Covid.  Sadly Thistles has therefore declined to send teams.   In discussion with other nations we note that they are also concerned and it is possible that for this one occasion the Spirit of Masters section of this event will not provide a sufficient number of teams to go ahead.  However should you as an individual wish to attend there is a small possibility of sending a “Celtic” team – please email the Secretary should this be of interest to you.
